A Chicago girl all her life, Liz Walker once dreamed of being
a District Attorney or an FBI agent – but her emerging talents
as a singer and lyricist soon drew her elsewhere, to the not-
quite-criminal side of the musical tracks. Once desperately
afraid of singing in public, Liz got over that problem – big time
– and now confidently interprets the classic songs of the
great female blues singers, and composes her own.  As a
songwriter, Liz’s strongest musical influences are all J-girls:
Joan Baez, Janis Ian and Joni Mitchell.
